Pediatric Speech and Language Enhancement Advocate (Kansas City, MO)
Looking for your new school year position? Our school is seeking a talented and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated educators. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and other disorders.
Job Details:
- 2024 -2025 School Year
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' progress and goals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
- Staying current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in MO.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
