Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist - School Environment
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school district in Blue Island, Illinois. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to students' communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to identify speech and language issues.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- At least one year of experience in a school setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
