Personal Care Assistant Needed - 24/25 School Year - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Interviews are being held for the 24–25 academic year. This is an urgent need post that will probably be filled for the upcoming academic year. The specifics are given below.

Location: Gettysburg, South Pennsylvania (1 hr from Baltimore)

Job Details:

• Dates: ASAP - June 13, 2025
• Full Time | 37.5 hours/week
• Caseload:
• 1:1 with male elementary student providing personal care to the student in the classroom

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the classroom with academic and behavior support needs
• Prepare lesson plans and grades as directed by supervising teacher
• Maintain daily record of student behavior
• Provide observations, opinions and feedback to professional staff

Experience and Skills Desired:

• Must have active Para License/Certification for Pennsylvania
• Must have housing and willing to drive
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Community First Aid and CPR card for adult, infant, and children (or acquire within 6 months of hire)
