Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in the Corona, CA area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in a school-based setting, working closely with licensed physical therapists to help students achieve their physical goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the licensed physical therapist in providing therapy services to students with physical disabilities or impairments.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and techniques as outlined in students' treatment plans.
- Monitor and document students' progress, reporting any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other related service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Adapt activities and equipment to meet students' individual needs.
Requirements:
- California State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to follow detailed therapy plans and work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
