Job Title: Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Zion, IL

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' physical and motor development needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in a school-based setting
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' physical development and inclusion in educational activities
Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance students' participation in the school environment
Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Provide training and support to school staff on strategies for promoting students' physical health and well-being
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to the provision of physical therapy services in schools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting students' physical development
