Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' gross motor skills, mobility, and physical function.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance physical performance.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support the integration of physical therapy strategies into daily activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to promote physical development.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Georgia Secretary of State Rules
- Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy.
- Strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
