Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' gross motor skills, mobility, and physical functioning within the school environment.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to improve students' motor skills and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive and accessible learning environments.
• Provide training to school staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development and mobility.
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a pediatric or school setting.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices and developmental milestones.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
