Job Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals to provide Special Education (SPED) classroom support at the middle school level. These full-time positions will involve assisting students with special education needs in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to students with special education needs.
- Assist with academic tasks, behavioral management, and classroom activities as directed by the teacher.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Help manage classroom behavior and support students' social and emotional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania ParaPro Assessment passing score of 462 or Associate's degree
- Experience working in a special education setting or with students who have special needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to varying schedules and classroom needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
