Location: Albuquerque, NM

Duties:

  • Provide individual, group, and/or family interventions to special education and general education students
  • Offer crisis intervention services for students at risk, including intervention, evaluation, and referral to appropriate community agencies
  • Administer behavioral rating scales, objective personality instruments, and projective techniques for diagnosis purposes
  • Complete necessary evaluations, reports, and correspondence as requested by supervisors for at-risk and/or students with social, emotional, and behavioral disorders (SEBD)
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate behavioral/academic intervention strategies for students
  • Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide case management services to students and families, coordinating home-school and inter-agency coordination, community resource referrals, and family assistance as needed
  • Coordinate the mental health team (Educational Specialist, Social Worker, Counselor, Nurse, Behavior Management Specialist, Behavior Disorder Consultant) assigned to school sites and clusters
