Job Title: Special Education Teacher (PreK-8th Grade)

Position Type: Full-time, Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with a self-contained classroom of 10-12 students in PreK through 8th grade. This position does not involve students with behavioral challenges, and the primary focus is on helping students stay on task and providing academic support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support for students in a self-contained setting.
• Keep students on task with individualized and group learning activities.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications:

• Academic Behavior Strategist (ABS) certification is preferred but not required. Other certifications may be considered.
• Must hold or be eligible for relevant state teaching licenses and clearances.
