Illinois SLP Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Illinois SLP license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous experience working with preschool and middle school students is highly recommended.

Job Description:

The SLP will work with students from preschool through middle school, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges to help them succeed academically and socially.

Experience and Requirements:

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for speech and language disorders.
• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide speech therapy interventions.
• Offer direct therapy services to preschool and middle school students.
• Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
• Attend IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and team collaborations.
