To work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New Mexico, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license, and ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). School-based SLPs must also hold a New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) license.
