Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists (PT) for a part-time role with school districts in the Calabasas, CA area. If you are dedicated to enhancing students' physical health and well-being and meet the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply.


  • Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Certification: Certification by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a PT, preferably in a school setting.
  • Clearance: Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances required by the state and school district.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.


  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve their motor skills, strength, and mobility.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' educational and physical goals.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
  • Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' physical therapy needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
