RBTs & Paraprofessionals Needed: Full-Time Job Open Now

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Paraprofessionals for a position with school districts in Waukee, IA. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students in achieving academic and social success.

Position Requirements:

• Must hold an RBT certification or meet Paraprofessional standards per Iowa state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved paraprofessional certification program or proof of equivalent experience.
• Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs is highly preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and any additional school district requirements.
• Must adhere to all local and state educational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and assistance to students in classroom settings.
• Work closely with special education teachers, therapists, and other educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assist students with learning tasks, behavioral management, and social interaction skills.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Support students in developing functional skills and life skills.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
