School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Contract

Location: Bridgeport, CT

Overview: Soliant, in collaboration with respected school districts in Bridgeport, CT, is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contract position. The selected candidate will provide behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related disabilities, supporting their academic and social success within the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address individualized goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct support to students with ASD or related disabilities in school settings, implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Collect data on student progress and behavior, monitoring and documenting responses to intervention.
  • Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and other support personnel, to ensure consistency and continuity of services.
  • Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an RBT in a school or clinical setting.
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
