Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time role with school districts in the Houston, Texas area. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-on-one or small group interventions to students with behavioral needs.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
  • Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Valid Texas licensure as required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
