We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our school and support our students with behavioral and developmental needs. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students. The RBT will play a crucial role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA.
Collect and record data on student progress.
Assist in the development of individualized goals for students.
Provide direct one-on-one or small group instruction.
Utilize evidence-based practices to improve student behavior and learning.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred).
Current SC RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Previous experience working with children, especially those with behavioral challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
