We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one support for an elementary student in Burlingame, CA. The RBT will implement individualized behavioral plans to help the student achieve their academic and social goals in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct support to the student in various settings, including classroom activities, recess, and transitions.
- Monitor and record student progress, collecting data on behavior and skills as required.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the development of social skills through structured activities and natural interactions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding the student’s progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification and completion of required training.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral challenges or special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students’ growth.
