Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Full Time (Westerly, Rhode Island)

Qualifications
 

• Educational Background:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some positions may prefer or require an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, particularly in fields related to education, psychology, or special education.

• Behavioral Training:

  • Completion of a 40-hour training program that covers the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), ethical considerations, and specific strategies for working with individuals with behavioral challenges.

• Certification:

  • Successful completion of the RBT certification exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Valid RBT licensure

Details

• Onsite
• Full Time | Monday – Friday | 35 hours per week
• Upcoming 2024/2025 School Year
• Caseload: 1:1 with 10^th grade student
• Contract Start: ASAP
• Contract End: June 18^th, 2025
• Provide support to students throughout the school day
• Implement ABA methods and behavioral plans
