  • Provide First Aid: Offer first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses that arise during school hours.
  • Administer Medications: Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed for students with chronic conditions.
  • Develop Care Plans: Create and implement care plans for students with chronic health issues like asthma or diabetes.
  • Educate on Health: Teach students, parents, and staff about health topics and manage chronic conditions.
  • Maintain Health Records: Keep accurate and confidential health records, including immunization and health histories.
  • Prepare for Emergencies: Develop emergency health protocols and conduct drills for medical emergencies and illness outbreaks.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work with school staff and parents to address health needs and ensure a healthy school environment.
