Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time position within a school district in the Waltham, Massachusetts area. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and responding to medical emergencies.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization verification as required by state and local regulations.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special needs or chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal health regulations and school policies.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid MA Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Ability to assess and respond quickly to medical situations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
