Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district near North St. Paul, MN, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of students in a supportive educational environment.

Position Overview:

• Role: School Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Health Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and addressing minor injuries or illnesses.
• Health Assessments: Conduct routine health assessments and screenings to ensure students' well-being.
• Emergency Response: Provide first aid and CPR, and respond to medical emergencies effectively.
• Collaboration: Work with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health care plans and ensure clear communication regarding students' health needs.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including documentation of treatments, medications, and health updates.
• Health Education: Educate students and staff on health practices, wellness, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Licensure and Certifications: Must hold a valid RN license in Minnesota. (Ensure compliance with Minnesota’s specific licensure requirements.)
• Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred. Knowledge of school health protocols and emergency procedures is advantageous.
