Job Title: Full-Time School Nurse (RN)

As a School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of students, fostering a safe and nurturing school environment. Responsibilities:

Provide direct health care services to students and staff
Conduct health assessments and screenings
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic conditions
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to promote a healthy school environment
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Educate students and staff on health-related topics
Participate in the development of school policies related to health and safety
Stay informed about current health issues and best practices in school nursing
Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
CPR and First Aid certification
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
