School Nurse (RN/LPN/LVN) – Shiprock, NM

Location: Shiprock, NM
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Pay: $30+ per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM
Caseload: K-12 students (additional details to be provided)
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate school nurse to support students in a K-12 setting in Shiprock, NM. The nurse will provide direct healthcare services, promote a safe school environment, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure student well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response
• Manage chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies
• Conduct health screenings and monitor student wellness
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student health needs
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state health regulations

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico RN or LPN/LVN Licensure
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
