Registered Nurse (RN) 1:1 Student Care | Evanston, IL

Location: Highland Park, IL (30 minutes from Evanston, IL)
Position Type: Full-Time (On-site Only)
Dates: ASAP – June 5, 2025
Hours: 35 hours/week

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a student in Highland Park, just 30 minutes from Evanston. The student requires full support for daily needs, including wheelchair transfers using a Hoyer lift, g-tube feeding, medication administration, and personal care. The nurse will also be responsible for accompanying the student on the bus to and from school each day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to a student with complex medical needs
• Assist with wheelchair transfers using a Hoyer lift
• Administer g-tube feedings and medications
• Provide personal care and support with daily activities
• Accompany the student on the bus to and from school
• Work on-site Monday through Friday from approximately 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois (LPNs will not be considered)
• Experience with g-tube feeding, medication administration, and wheelchair transfers preferred
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care
• Must be able to commit to the full assignment through June 5, 2025

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $45+
