Registered Nurse (RN) Role in School Setting

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School RNs for a full-time role with school districts in the Orange, NJ area. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about ensuring student well-being and providing quality medical care in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in both emergency and routine situations.
• Administer medications, first aid, and other necessary treatments as required.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization clinics within the school environment.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic or special health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate relevant information to appropriate parties.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health and wellness topics and preventive care measures.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of emergency care procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student health and success.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
