Registered Nurse - School Based Job

Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with a school district near Circle Pines, MN, to hire a School Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. This role offers a valuable opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to students, ensuring their health and safety within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Health Care: Administer medications, provide first aid, and manage acute and chronic health conditions for students.
• Health Monitoring: Conduct health assessments and screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and monitor students with ongoing medical needs.
• Care Plans: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with parents, healthcare providers, and school staff.
• Health Education: Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics, promoting healthy practices and disease prevention.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Crisis Management: Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in Minnesota and meet all state and district requirements.
• Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain detailed records.
