Registered School Nurse Needed ASAP in Hastings, MN

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work as a nurse with a student for the remainder of this school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care and attention to the student as needed during school hours. The RN will work closely with school staff and parents to ensure the student's health and wellbeing.

Job Title: Registered School Nurse (RN)

Location: Hastings, MN 12/4 5/21, 7:30 am 3:00pm

Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Job Duration: ASAP - 5/31/23

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures to the student as directed by the healthcare provider
• Monitor the student's health and alert healthcare provider, parents, and school staff of any concerns or changes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Provide training and education to school staff on the student's medical needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare provider, parents, and school staff to develop and implement a care plan for the student

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
