Blazerworks is looking for an empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Arlington Public Schools. This full-time, 1-on-1 role involves caring for a child who is blind and has epilepsy. Your compassion can change lives—join us!

Job Details:

• Elementary 3^rd Grade student
• ASAP- June 16, 2025
• Full Time 1:1

Key Responsibilities

• Vision Screening, Storing & Administering medication for Diabetic students
• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Medical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatments, and patient responses.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
• Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Certification: Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must have Vision Screening Experience
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• School experience is preferred
