We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our exceptional educational team in San Francisco, California for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. Qualifications for the TVI Position:

  • Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired (or a related field).
  • Active California TVI certification.
  • A deep commitment to supporting students with visual impairments, ensuring an inclusive and accessible learning experience.
  • Previous experience with K-12 students with visual impairments is preferred, but not required.

Job Responsibilities and Details:

  • This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule, offering consistent hours and a predictable workweek.
  • Onsite position within schools in the district, providing direct support and services to students.
  • Caseload includes K-12 students, offering diverse opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Collaborative work with other educators and specialists to help students thrive academically and personally.
