Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - LaBelle, Fl

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for full-time positions within school districts located in the LaBelle, FL area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements to join our team and provide exceptional support to students with occupational therapy needs.


  • Valid Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
  • Associate s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, educators, parents, and support staff.


  • Assist in the implementation of individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Educate and support parents, teachers, and other stakeholders on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy through professional development opportunities.
