School-Based LPN Needed: Onsite Job - Angola, NY

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Angola, NY area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and record student health data, including vital signs and medical history.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health plans for students.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and wellness.
• Assist in the management of chronic health conditions and provide support for students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Special Requirements: 

• Current and active LPN license in New York State.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Passing a comprehensive background check in accordance with state and district regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
