School-based Occupational Therapist (OT) Job

Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Roswell, GA. The ideal candidate will support students' ability to participate in desired daily school activities by addressing physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating students' functional abilities within the school environment.
• Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans to enhance students' academic performance and participation.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Providing training and resources to school staff on strategies to accommodate students' needs.
• Monitoring and documenting students' progress toward therapy goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia state license in Occupational Therapy.
• National certification required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
