School-based Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT)

Blazer Jobs is searching for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to work in a school setting in South Fulton, GA. As a Physical Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students improve their mobility and physical functioning to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor skills, strength, and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to track and enhance student progress.
• Provide direct therapy and create modifications to aid students in reaching their physical potential.
• Track and document progress toward therapy goals and suggest updates to IEPs.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current Georgia State Physical Therapist License.
• Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students in a school-based setting.
