School-based Opportunity: Psychologist

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in South Fulton, GA. As part of our dynamic support team, you'll be working with students to assess, diagnose, and address their emotional, mental, and educational needs within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and academic abilities.
• Provide counseling and mental health support to students dealing with personal, academic, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical situations.
• Support educators in understanding student behavior and academic performance.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master's degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Georgia State License to practice as a School Psychologist.
• Certification in School Psychology (NASP or state equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting required.
