Job Title: School Paraprofessional

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with schools in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as School Paraprofessionals. The Paraprofessional will work under the direction of teachers and support staff to provide assistance to students in various educational settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Support students with classroom assignments, organization, and behavior management.
  • Assist with classroom materials preparation and organization.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students' academic and social-emotional success.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of at least 48 semester hours of college credit, or an associate degree, or passing scores on the ParaPro Assessment (required by the state of North Carolina).
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
