School-based Physical Therapist (PT)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This role involves working with students to improve their physical mobility and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' gross motor skills and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement interventions to enhance strength, coordination, and mobility.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom setting.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate school staff on safe practices and accommodations for students with physical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• At least one year of experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy.
• Understanding of developmental milestones and pediatric orthopedic conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
