Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for a full-time position in Belmont, CA. for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The RBT will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide essential support and implement behavior intervention plans. The hours for this role will vary based on the school’s schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect and record data on student behavior
  • Assist in developing new behavior plans
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student needs
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Current RBT certification
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
