Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our school-based team in Massachusetts. This full-time role involves working 1:1 and/or as an aide to support a behaviorally challenged elementary student. The ideal candidate will help implement a consistent behavior plan and provide supports aimed at stabilizing and improving the student’s learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the assigned student to address behavioral challenges in a 1:1 or classroom aide capacity.
Implement and maintain a consistent behavior plan as directed by the student’s educational and behavioral team.
Provide support to help stabilize the student’s behavior and improve participation in the classroom.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other professionals to support the student’s goals.
Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress.
Ensure compliance with school policies and standards for safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Active RBT license/certification in Massachusetts.
Previous school-based experience is required.
Must complete CORI and fingerprinting requirements prior to start.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience implementing behavior plans and working with behaviorally challenged students preferred.
