School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Palo Alto, CA (32.5 Hours/Week)

BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based position in Palo Alto, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' behavioral and social development while working in a collaborative school environment. 

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:45 PM
• 30-Minute Lunch Break

Caseload/Details:

• Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Caseload: 1:1 with a Middle School Student
• Responsibilities:
• Provide behavior intervention services based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Implement behavioral intervention plans and strategies to address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
• Collect and monitor data on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of sessions and progress
• Support students in developing appropriate social skills and self-regulation
• Attend meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student outcomes

Details & Requirements:

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Position Type: (32.5 hours/week)

Experience:

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and other professionals
• Comfortable working with middle school-aged students

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with students with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Experience with IEP development and behavioral interventions in schools is a plus
