School-based Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Saint Paul, MN

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team in Saint Paul, MN. This school-based role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with hearing impairments in their educational journey.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter.

• State certification or licensure for Sign Language Interpretation in Minnesota.

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).

• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 4.0+ preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in ASL Interpretation or a related field is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Provide interpretation services for students in various educational settings.

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective communication.

• Support students’ academic and social development.

• Adhere to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
