School Based SLP Contract Opportunity - Full Time

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Plano, TX area. We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to help students overcome speech and language challenges, supporting their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on assessments and IEP goals.
• Conduct one-on-one or group therapy sessions, targeting specific communication issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to ensure therapy goals align with classroom instruction.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations on speech and language services.
• Educate students, families, and staff on communication techniques and strategies for improved outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Texas SLP licensure or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
