School Based SLP Opening - Full Time Contract

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role in a school district in the Medina, NY area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring speech therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
