School Based SLPA Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Aurora, CO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to student success.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a current and valid state SLPA license .

• Have a bachelors degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.

• Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.

• Ability to pass a background check and meet district hiring requirements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.

• Conducting therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

• Supporting students in improving their speech, language, and communication skills.

• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.

• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success.
