School Based Social Worker Position URGENTLY HIRING | Willimantic, CT

Our school is excited to hire a dedicated social worker who can provide critical emotional and social support to our students. Help us create a nurturing, positive learning environment.
 

Requirements:

· Master's Level Degree in School Social Work

· Must hold an active Social Worker State Teaching License in School Social Work (MSW) or (LCSW)

· NASW: National Association of Social Workers

· Must have at least 2 years of supervised, post MSW social work experience as a school social worker in a school setting to work at the district
 

Job Details:

· Start & End Date: 2024 - 2025 New School Year

· Hours: Full Time & Part Time available

· Caseload Details: More details can be discussed during an interview.
 

Responsibilities:

· Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.

· Conduct assessments and evaluations for students needing special education services and develop appropriate intervention plans.

· Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
