Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Social Workers for a full-time role with school districts in the Shakopee, MN area. We are seeking compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' emotional, social, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and emotional support to students facing social and behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to assist students in overcoming personal and academic obstacles.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide appropriate resources or referrals.
  • Advocate for students and families by connecting them with community services and support programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
  • Must hold a valid Minnesota School Social Worker license.
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and external agencies.
