Speech Language Pathologist - Wilmington, DE Area

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Wilmington, DE area. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply.

Local and State Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Delaware Board of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Delaware Department of Education regulations and guidelines.
  • Completion of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement intervention strategies.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
