Job Description:
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a significant impact in a school setting? We are seeking a skilled SLP to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves providing vital services and supports to students K-12.
Responsibilities:
- Direct & Indirect Services: Deliver effective speech-language therapy and supports to students, ensuring alignment with IDEA B regulations.
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Participate in a team-based approach to conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for evaluation.
- Response to Intervention (RTI): Provide short-term RTI supports as needed, based on the Problem Solving Team's Intervention Plan.
- Medicaid Billing: Manage Medicaid billing processes as appropriate to ensure coverage for services provided.
Special Requirements:
- Colorado Education Certificate (CDE) Required: Must hold an active CDE certification to practice as a school-based SLP in Colorado.
- Commitment to Compliance: Ensure adherence to IDEA B and related educational and therapeutic guidelines.
- Licensure: Licensed SLP-CCC in Colorado.
- Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
