Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech and language skills.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques to enhance communication abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Offer training and guidance to educators on integrating speech-language strategies in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
