Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team, working with school districts in the area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language services to students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify speech or language delays.
- Educate and guide students, families, and school staff on communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and document students' progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Fingerprints required for district
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
